I was a dedicated employee that abided by the agreement that worker’s compensation is a no-fault insurance program provided to injured workers that are being treated for or recovering from a work-related injury or illness. TWO TIMES I proved to my employer that my only concern was to return to my job. I was retaliated against. I was terminated. During the retaliation, the managers responsible for my termination broke countless company rules and policies. To this day I continue to search for the truth. I believed in my company’s Code of Conduct but it failed to give me due process. More disturbing an egregious act of willful disregard to protect the food we eat against intentional contamination is being condoned by one of the largest companies in the food industry. A company responsible for many of the most publicized incidents of contamination in our country.
